OXVA XLIM UNITECH 3.0 Cartridges
OXVA XLIM UNITECH 3.0 Cartridges are refillable replacement pods for compatible devices in the OXVA XLIM range. Each pack contains three cartridges, with four different resistance options available depending on how tight, warm or powerful you like your vape.
They’re simple pods to live with. The coil is already built in, the filling port sits towards the top of the cartridge and there’s no separate coil to remove or replace.
Once the coil reaches the end of its life, swap the complete cartridge for a fresh one.
Choose From Four Resistances
The UNITECH 3.0 range covers both MTL and RDTL vaping, so choosing the right resistance mainly comes down to how you like your inhale to feel.
- 0.4Ω – 26-30W: The most open and powerful option. Designed primarily for RDTL vaping with a warmer inhale and increased vapour.
- 0.6Ω – 20-25W: A versatile option that sits between RDTL and a loose MTL draw. It provides a warmer vape without being as open as the 0.4Ω version.
- 0.8Ω – 12-16W: A balanced MTL pod with a more restricted draw and lower power requirement. This is also the resistance supplied with the OXVA Xlim 4 kit.
- 1.2Ω – 10-12W: The tightest and lowest-powered option, intended for a more traditional MTL inhale.
UNITECH 3.0 Pod Technology
OXVA has changed the internal design of these cartridges rather than simply giving the previous pod a new name.
The wicking area has been enlarged to move e-liquid into the coil more quickly. According to OXVA, a freshly filled UNITECH 3.0 cartridge can reach its intended saturation in around 30 seconds.
That means there isn’t the usual long wait after filling a new pod for the first time.
The internal airflow and liquid management have also been revised. A larger condensation area and upgraded sealing system are designed to trap excess moisture and reduce the amount of liquid that can collect around the bottom of the pod.
Easy Top Filling
The filling port sits towards the top of the cartridge, making day-to-day refilling much easier.
On compatible XLIM devices, you can normally open the fill seal and add e-liquid without taking the pod out of the battery first.
The UK version holds 2ml of e-liquid. Once filled, close the seal firmly and give a new UNITECH 3.0 pod roughly 30 seconds to soak before vaping.
Which E-Liquid Should I Use?
The best liquid depends on the resistance you’ve chosen.
The 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods are particularly well suited to 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids, including many nicotine salt and standard freebase liquids.
The lower-resistance 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω cartridges are designed for a warmer, more open vape and can be paired with suitable pod-friendly freebase or nicotine salt e-liquids.
Whichever pod you choose, always make sure your e-liquid suits the resistance and power level you’re using.
Compatible With the OXVA XLIM Pod Range
UNITECH 3.0 cartridges are designed for the wider OXVA XLIM pod platform, making them useful if you already own more than one compatible XLIM device.
They replace the same style of built-in coil cartridge used across much of the XLIM family, including newer models such as the Xlim 4.
They do not fit the OXVA XLIM C. The XLIM C uses a different cartridge with separate replaceable coils, so you’ll need dedicated XLIM C pods and coils for that device.
When Should I Replace the Pod?
There isn’t a fixed number of days that a cartridge will last. Coil life depends on the liquid you’re using, power level and how frequently you vape.
It’s usually time for a replacement when flavour drops noticeably, vapour production becomes weaker or the e-liquid begins to taste burnt or unusual.
Because the coil is built into the cartridge, there’s nothing to take apart. Remove the old pod, fill a fresh one and carry on.
