SMKD Secret Santa Appeal

Make Christmas Magical For Children In Need – Secret Santa 2023 is here.

Today sees the launch of SMKD’s 2023 Appeal on behalf of JCI Bradford’s Secret Santa, and you’re invited to help our team make this Christmas a merry one for families in need.

This Christmas, somewhere in your community, a child will wake up and find that Father Christmas didn’t come this year. It’s the harsh reality of the world that we live in that some parents have to make a choice between buying a gift for their child, and putting food on the table. But that doesn’t need to be the case, and you can help.

Every year, JCI Bradford works with companies and organisations such as SMKD to collect gifts for children who would otherwise go without. So we’re inviting you, our incredible Vaping Family, to come together with our team and make a donation to the Secret Santa Appeal.

Ways to Donate

Between the 24th of November and the 7th of December, you can make a donation in store, by post or (if you qualify) by using our same day delivery service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend that donations by post are sent no later than 04/07/2023 to ensure they can be included in this years appeal. Any donations arriving after the deadline will be put aside for next year’s appeal.

In Store

You can make a donation by dropping a gift off at any SMKD Store. Locate your nearest SMKD store using our Store Locator.

Same Day Delivery

If you qualify for our same day delivery service, you can place your order as normal and give your donation to our delivery driver when we bring your order.

By Post

If you can’t make it to one of our stores, and don’t qualify for our Same Day Delivery Service, you can still donate by posting a donation to the following address:

FAO: Secret Santa Appeal

SMKD, Unit 7, Bradford Chamber Business Park

Donation Guidelines

  1. No food/sweets/chocolate – For safeguarding reasons, these cannot be passed on to the children.
  2. Nothing too expensive – These gifts will be going to children in difficult circumstances and we do not want to make them a target or victim of theft. £5-£10 is probably the average spent per gift.
  3. Don’t wrap the gift – Wrapping is not required as all gifts must be checked before distribution for safeguarding reasons. Wrapped gifts have to be opened and checked which causes delays and sometimes it is a waste of your money if the wrapping is no longer useful.
  4. No Personal notes and cards – please do not include notes and cards with gifts as they will not be passed on to the child.

Every Donation Counts

With the cost of living rising every week, this year’s appeal is needed more than ever. If you can, please make a donation and share this with your friends and family on social media.
