How You Pick the Best E-liquid

E-Liquid, Juice, Fluid and other references for the liquid gold that gives vape devices a means to operate.

It’s the backbone of the vaping industry, and the butter to which all vape devices as a whole need to operate. Juice, as to what I would refer it too, comes in all shapes, sizes, flavours, settings and manufacturers. From Doughnut flavours by Donut Kings, your typical pudding assortments from Bakers Fog to simple delicacies like Grape, Apple, Blueberry and many others found in El-Fruto, Broke Baller, and our branded 10ml E-liquid by SMKD.

Juice, to which I would refer it, are made up of two key ingredients: Propylene Glycol, and Vegetable Glycerine.

Food-grade Flavouring                     Propylene glycol                     Vegetable glycerine                       Nicotine

Food-coloring            Propylene Glycol      Vegetable Glycerine        Nicotine

  • Vegetable Glycerine: gives the liquid it’s solidity, which in high concentrates can give E-Cigarettes of a high wattage the means to blow a vast amount of smoke (Cloud) – Larger devices called direct to lungs (DTL’s) of a lower resistance in coil will depend on high concentrates of this: IE; 70vg/30pg
  • Propylene Glycol: This ingredient, in laymen’s terms gives the juice more flavours, and helps balance out the VG, so it doesn’t become too thick. A high percentage of MTL (Mouth to Lung) devices require a higher amount of PG to thin the liquid, so it can be burned in higher resistance coils that are designed for the average smoker: IE; 50vg/50pg or 30vg/70pg.

Juice itself isn’t too complicated, if you have a device that requires a higher wattage and Lower Resistances, you’re technically a sub-ohm user. 70vg/30pg Is the optimum levels of ratio for this.
Mouth to Lung (MTL) Users will typically stick to higher levels of PG, around 40vg/60pg or higher.

Some Liquid can also contain elements like Menthols and Coolada (Commonly known as Ice) Menthol leaves a common feeling that most smokers will notice, it takes away the harshness of some liquids and leaves it smooth, and comfortable. Iced Liquid (Coolada) gives liquid a cold, fresh feel, kind of like opening a cold drink from the fridge and feeling the hit of cold comfort, which is a personal favourite of mine.

You can’t just use any juice in any device, though, some do allow you to get away with it, a lot of them don’t. Using the wrong juice can lead to leaking, coil burning & a general distasteful taste on the tongue.

What are the Best E-liquid Flavours?

There are MANY flavours of juice out there, the usually, casual ranges are “Fruity” tastes, as our customers would reference them, and the brand choices? Endless.

Juicy Nerds, The Big Tasty, Pukka Juice, Double Drip, Sad Boys, Vice. All these have their own taste, their own niche, their own… Spark. It’s hard to describe flavour when the proof is in the pudding, but to begin with, it can be a very challenging area, but with our help, It’s far easier.

Long story short, juice to begin with can be a challenge for the best of people, finding the right brand, the right strength, the right flavour.
But everyone has their choice in the end, and you’ll always go back to one.

Without E-Liquid, and the capable minds of designers with a passion to make bold, and exciting flavours. Vaping would be very, very boring indeed.
