SMKD have been testing and reviewing each flavour from our range of DNA Vapes E-Liquids. This week we tested the seventh flavour on our list. Read on for our DNA Vapes Strawberry Banana Ice review.
Before I first tried DNA Vapes Strawberry Banana Ice e-liquid, I imagined it might taste like a fruit smoothie. Though I do usually enjoy strawberries and bananas, I don’t like smoothies. So, I had a feeling this one wouldn’t be for me. But that didn’t tamp down my curiosity.
So, I grabbed my OXVA Xlim SQ, a DNA Vapes 100ml short fill, and two 18mg freebase nicotine shots, and filled the tank. Apparently, I had been wrong all along.
In fact, I loved the flavour. If you can recall the old foam shrimp and banana sweets, you can imagine exactly what DNA Vapes Strawberry Banana Ice tastes like. Like a subtly sweet and creamy treat, the flavour is just as rich as the sweets themselves. The banana flavouring is supposedly inspired by the Gros Michel bananas that were popular until the 1950s. Whilst I wasn’t born early enough to have tried one myself, I can see why the bananas of yesteryear were so liked. This is certainly the dominant flavour, but it is complimented so well by the sweet hints of strawberry.
On the inhale, the sensation is sharp and cooling, leaving a sweet aftertaste much like drinking a banana milkshake. This refreshing aftermath works really well with the heavy fruit flavouring.
Overall, I really enjoyed this DNA Vapes flavour. I found I could vape it all day long without getting sick of the taste. Strawberry Banana Ice has become one of my favourite e-liquids, contending for top spot alongside Blueberry Raz Lemonade. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth or anyone partial to a banana milkshake.
